About the Role: The Paid Ads Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid ads campaigns to support audience growth, engagement, and revenue generation across Wiley’s Audience Solutions portfolio. This role owns paid ads set up, scheduling, budget management, maintenance, performance reporting, and channel testing initiatives. The position plays a critical role in growing owned audience assets, including YouTube subscribers and retargeting audiences, while reducing reliance on third-party paid reach. The role also supports campaign execution across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and contributes to broader marketing attribution and reporting efforts. The role also contributes to dedicated strategic initiatives focused on accelerating audience growth across owned, organic and paid channels, supporting scalable acquisition and long-term audience value creation. Job Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and execute paid ads campaigns across platforms (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google, Bing), ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and budget allocations Manage paid ads budgets, monitor performance, and optimize campaigns to meet cost-efficiency and revenue contribution targets Grow owned audience assets, including YouTube subscribers and retargeting audiences, through structured campaign strategies and ongoing optimization Lead testing of new paid ads channels and formats, documenting performance benchmarks and providing clear recommendations for future investment Analyze campaign performance and produce structured insights, including cost-per-acquisition comparisons and channel effectiveness reporting Maintain consistent UTM tracking standards across all campaigns and support integration of paid media performance into broader attribution and reporting frameworks Support YouTube content distribution, retargeting strategy execution, and troubleshooting across paid platforms (e.g., Meta account issues) Contribute to the development of automated reporting dashboards and processes to improve campaign visibility and reduce manual reporting effort Support and execute dedicated audience growth initiatives, partnering with the Director and wider marketing team to scale acquisition across owned channels (e.g., YouTube, retargeting audiences, newsletters) and reduce reliance on third-party media Required Qualifications: Technical Skills Experience managing paid ads campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, Google ads Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, including CPC (Cost per Click), CPA(Cost per Acquisition), CTR (Click-through-rate), and ROI (return on investment) Experience with campaign budget management and performance optimization Knowledge of UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) tracking, campaign tagging, and digital attribution principles Experience using analytics and reporting tools Core Capabilities Ability to analyze campaign performance and translate data into actionable insights Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously Clear written communication skills for reporting, recommendations, and documentation Problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting campaigns or platform issues We power infinite possibilities. The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom, Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
