Role Snapshot
Join Reading Partners Tulsa as an AmeriCorps member to provide individualized literacy intervention support to young readers from November 2025 to June 2026. This full-time service opportunity empowers students to achieve grade-level reading proficiency by fourth grade.
Key Responsibilities: Provide literacy intervention and individualized reading support to students, participate in intensive training and ongoing professional development, and may assist in disaster response activities if required.
Skills & Tools: Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize competing priorities effectively, willingness to learn technology systems (Salesforce, Google Apps, Zoom), and capacity to both collaborate in teams and work independently.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 18 years old, possess U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and have reliable transportation for daily commuting. Preference given to candidates with national service experience or community volunteering background.
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Compensation: From $18K/yr
