Role Snapshot
Director of Information Technology at Vernier Science Education will lead all IT initiatives, ensuring technology aligns with strategic business goals and supporting the company's mission to make science education accessible and engaging. This role involves overseeing IT infrastructure, managing a high-performing team, and driving strategic technology decisions in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of IT systems and infrastructure, develop and implement IT strategy aligned with business goals, manage the IT budget, lead and develop the IT team, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while maintaining efficient operations.
Skills & Tools: Proven leadership and team management abilities, technical expertise in IT infrastructure and systems, strategic planning and financial/budgeting acumen, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the willingness to collaborate hands-on with colleagues.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 5+ years of proven experience in an IT leadership role. Demonstrated expertise in strategic IT planning, budgeting, and in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations.
Location: Beaverton, Oregon
Compensation: $120K–$180K/yr
