Role Snapshot
The Family Advocate at Shine Early Learning supports families and children in the Bay St. Louis area through advocacy, guidance, and resource coordination. This role promotes family engagement and child development outcomes within an early learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison between families and the early learning program, providing support and guidance on child development and family services. Coordinate resources, communicate with families, and advocate for children's needs and family wellbeing.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with diverse families. Problem-solving abilities and empathy for understanding family needs and providing appropriate support.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in family services, education, or advocacy preferred. Knowledge of child development and community resources is beneficial.
Location: MS – Bay St. Louis
Compensation: $21/hr
