Summary

Skills & Tools: Strong technical foundation in cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and security tools; excellent client communication and consulting abilities; proficiency in system configuration and troubleshooting; knowledge of security best practices and organizational risk management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent professional experience); 2-5 years of experience in technical support, professional services, or cybersecurity implementation roles.
Location: Clearwater, Florida (Hybrid)
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $75,000 – $105,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

The Professional Services Engineer is a key technical resource supporting post-sales activities and customer success. This role combines product expertise with strong customer relationship skills to ensure successful implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of product deployments. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the product portfolio, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to work closely with customers to maximize the value of their purchased solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and security awareness practices.
  • Implement and configure products for small to mid-sized business customers post-purchase.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Record and track customer deployment activities.
  • Support Snr. Professional Services colleagues and mentor junior team members as needed.
  • Adhere to and promote security awareness practices
  • Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure customers receive value from their purchased solution(s).
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve the majority of technical issues, seeking assistance from senior colleagues for more complex problems.
  • Complete all policy requests received from customers or when supporting other team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the IT Security Field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in similar or related position
  • Two-year degree preferred
  • Familiarity with firewall and email protocols is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Highly organized and result-oriented
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Can demonstrate technical troubleshooting and analysis ability
  • Can demonstrate integrity, accountability, respect and commitment
  • Strong collaborative and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
