Key Responsibilities: Design custom internal and external marketing communications, digital and print campaigns using Adobe Creative Suite; manage projects through the team's project management system; collaborate with campus partners and the creative team to execute and deliver final products while adhering to brand guidelines.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (illustration, layout, motion graphics); strong portfolio demonstrating diverse design mediums; excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively and independently; understanding of brand guidelines and visual identity systems.
Qualifications: Portfolio or work samples required demonstrating graphic design experience across multiple mediums. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field, or equivalent professional experience in design.
Compensation: $55K–$75K/yr (estimated)

Primary Purpose of Position:
The graphic designer will help maintain and reinforce NC State’s brand through the creation of high-quality, visually engaging communication materials that communicate the university's brand, mission and values to various audiences. The graphic designer will create custom internal and external marketing communications, design digital and print campaigns that bring the brand to life.
The graphic designer should have a strong background in a wide variety of design mediums, including illustration, layout and motion graphics using the Adobe Creative Suite. This range of work should be displayed in a strong portfolio. This candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, which is required to provide exceptional service within the Division of Academic and Student Affairs and beyond.
This designer will work in a team environment and report to the Creative Director. The designer should be able to collaborate and ideate with others and also independently. The designer will execute projects, manage them through the team’s project management system and deliver final products to campus partners.
This designer will be expected to understand brand guidelines and be able to work creatively within the structure provided by NC State’s visual brand.
