Role Snapshot
Lead innovative machine learning projects and mentor junior team members at Amii, leveraging expertise in reinforcement learning to drive client success and maintain scientific excellence in AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Lead applied ML projects for industry partners, conduct client meetings to guide technical direction, mentor junior staff through model-building processes, and bridge fundamental ML techniques with real-world business applications.
Skills & Tools: Strong expertise in ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow), proficiency in Python, analytical problem-solving abilities, subject matter expertise in reinforcement learning, and excellent communication and mentoring capabilities.
Qualifications: Master's or PhD in Computer Science specializing in Machine Learning with 2+ years of applied experience developing machine learning models, particularly in reinforcement learning.
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Compensation: CA$85K–CA$130K/yr
