Role Snapshot
A Family Advocate at Shine Early Learning supports families in the WECA region by providing guidance and resources related to early learning and child development. This role focuses on strengthening family engagement and ensuring positive outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities: Serves as a liaison between families and the early learning program, providing advocacy support and connecting families with community resources. Conducts family consultations, documents interactions, and collaborates with staff to address family needs and concerns.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build trusting relationships with diverse families. Demonstrated ability to listen actively, problem-solve, and navigate community resources effectively.
Qualifications: Typically requires high school diploma or GED with relevant experience in family services, social services, or early childhood education. Some positions may require certification or specific training in family advocacy or related fields.
Location: WI - WECA
Compensation: $21/hr
