Role Snapshot
SPG Therapy & Education is seeking School Psychologists to provide mental health support and educational assessments in school-based positions for the 2025-2026 school year. This role focuses on assisting children and families through psycho-educational evaluations, special education eligibility certification, and counseling services.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct psycho-educational assessments and prepare comprehensive reports certifying student eligibility for special education services. Participate in IEP meetings, provide counseling to students, and offer consultative support to administrators, parents, and school personnel on special education procedures and mental health issues.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills with excellent speaking, writing, and listening abilities. Thorough understanding of special education guidelines and procedures, mental health issues, child development, and relevant intervention strategies.
Qualifications: California PPS Credential required along with fingerprint background clearance and tuberculosis clearance. Professional experience in school psychology or related assessment and counseling roles is implied.
Location: San Francisco, California
Compensation: $88K–$120K/yr
