Role Snapshot
Director of Legal Operations at Ellucian to drive operational strategy and infrastructure for the global Legal Department, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer. Lead modernization efforts through technology, process optimization, and analytics to ensure efficient and scalable legal service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Define and execute the Legal Department's operational strategy while managing day-to-day operations, budget, and vendor relations. Lead technology and process transformations, mentor the Legal Operations team, and foster cross-functional collaboration across legal and business teams.
Skills & Tools: Extensive experience in legal operations, technology implementation, vendor management, and budget oversight with strong leadership and communication abilities. Advanced capability in data analytics and change management required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree, paralegal experience, or relevant certification preferred. In-house legal department experience strongly preferred.
Location: Reston, Virginia
Compensation: $135K–$200K/yr
