The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for coordinating with both internal teams and external vendors/customers regarding shipment status, delivery timelines, and evolving business needs. Core duties include preparing and verifying outgoing orders, receiving and appropriately dispositioning incoming products, and maintaining accurate inventory records through cycle counts and physical inventory checks.

In addition to operational responsibilities, the Warehouse Clerk performs various administrative tasks such as responding to emails and phone inquiries, updating system records, and ensuring that inventory is properly labeled and stored in accordance with company standards. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment is essential. This role also involves flexibility to take on other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the warehouse operation.

Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within the company warehouse by performing the following duties:

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with internal and external customers and vendors on the status of shipments, arrival times and business needs.
  • Preparing customer orders from stock, verifying accurate counts, weights, and dimensions.
  • Receive incoming products and disposition accordingly.
  • Monitor inventory to ensure that it is properly stored and labeled according to company standards.
  • Conduct cycle and physical counts and accurately updates stock information.
  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls, emails, updating system records and providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

This is a full-time non-exempt position at the company facility in Youngstown, Ohio.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Warehouse Management System preferred.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
