Role Snapshot
The Philadelphia Director of School Support will enhance student success by coaching school leaders and implementing effective instructional strategies in Mathematics across the School District of Philadelphia. This role focuses on strengthening equitable instruction, building leadership capacity, and driving meaningful student achievement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with school leaders to coach on instructional strategies, data-driven decision-making, and standards-based instruction while facilitating professional development for educators. Collaborate with school and district teams to analyze data, address inequities, design coaching strategies, and connect schools to share best practices.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in instructional coaching, change management, data-driven instruction, and K-12 mathematics; strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships and leading professional development.
Qualifications: 5-7 years of coaching experience required; preferred expertise in K-12 mathematics, Illustrative Mathematics curriculum, and Common Core Standards.
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Compensation: $99K–$149K/yr
