Role Snapshot
Lead innovative ML projects and mentor junior team members at the intersection of industry and academia. Bridge the gap between fundamental ML techniques and business opportunities while driving client success.
Key Responsibilities: Lead client meetings to advance ML projects, provide tailored technical guidance, mentor junior staff through model-building processes, and support implementation of exploratory data analysis and machine learning modeling techniques. Write and review technical reports, conduct client discovery sessions, and ensure ethical AI development through the Principled AI Framework.
Skills & Tools: Proficient in Python with experience in ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow) and strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to clients and team members. Expertise in machine learning domains with ability to coach others and foster collaborative work environments.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science with specialization in Machine Learning and at least 2 years of relevant industrial experience. Demonstrated expertise as a subject matter expert in a specific ML domain.
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Compensation: CA$80K–CA$120K/yr
