Role Snapshot
Join Reading Partners Baltimore as a full-time AmeriCorps member to deliver individualized reading support to young students and help them achieve grade-level proficiency by fourth grade through a 6-month service commitment from January to June 2026.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personalized reading assistance to students, engage in community engagement activities, and complete 900+ hours of service working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Skills & Tools: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, proficiency with technology systems (Salesforce, Google Apps, Zoom), and capacity to work both collaboratively in teams and independently.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required; must be at least 18 years old. Prior experience in national service, Peace Corps, or community volunteering is preferred.
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Compensation: From $13K/yr
