Role Snapshot
Tutor Me Education seeks a passionate Remote Veterinary Medicine Educator to provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to veterinary and veterinary technician students. This role offers flexible, remote work with the opportunity to support the next generation of veterinary professionals in their academic success.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions in veterinary science subjects (anatomy, pharmacology, clinical skills, surgery, etc.), tailor instruction to individual student needs and learning styles, and support exam preparation (NAVLE, VTNE). Track student progress, use virtual teaching tools to create engaging learning experiences, and stay current with veterinary education standards.
Skills & Tools: Requires strong communication and teaching ability to explain complex veterinary concepts accessibly, proficiency with online platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, whiteboards, screen sharing), and patience and empathy for student support. Preferred skills include previous tutoring or teaching experience and familiarity with veterinary exams and specialty medicine areas.
Qualifications: Required: DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree or LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) certification with a strong academic foundation in veterinary sciences. Preferred: Previous tutoring/mentoring/teaching experience, familiarity with NAVLE or VTNE exams, and an active veterinary license or technician certification in good standing.
Location: Texas City, Texas
Compensation: $30–$35/hr
