Role Snapshot
EDI Enrollment Specialist responsible for managing payer enrollment processes for behavioral health medical billing, supporting both government and commercial payers. This role is critical to ensuring smooth claims processing and revenue cycle management for a rapidly growing behavioral health organization.
Key Responsibilities: Handle electronic data interchange processes for enrollments, prepare and submit EDI claims, EFT, and ERA applications through clearinghouse portals, and resolve enrollment issues with payers. Maintain accurate enrollment records, communicate with clearinghouses and insurance representatives, and partner with internal teams to troubleshoot denials and ensure timely provider onboarding.
Skills & Tools: Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management and EDI enrollment with familiarity of EDI file formats and clearinghouse systems (Availity, Waystar, Stedi). Strong communication abilities, multitasking skills, self-starter mentality, and CredentialStream experience is preferred.
Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management for medical or behavioral health billing with demonstrated EDI enrollment experience. EDI software/systems expertise is essential; knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and ability to work independently are required.

Compensation: $45K–$65K/yr
