Role Snapshot

Fully remote live teaching role instructing healthcare administration courses synchronously between 6-10 PM EST in an 11-week quarter format. Instructors engage students in applied discussions, case-based learning, and real-world project supervision while maintaining high academic standards.

Key Responsibilities: Teach live online classes, deliver structured high-engagement instruction, lead case-based discussions and applied exercises, grade with substantive feedback, supervise capstone projects, and integrate digital tools and AI appropriately into coursework. Commit 8-10 hours per week per course with flexibility for training.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills with digital fluency in LMS platforms, video conferencing, and AI-powered educational tools. Ability to translate practical healthcare experience into structured learning and support diverse student populations.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Services Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, or related field with minimum 2 years of higher education teaching experience and 3 years of professional healthcare industry experience. Experience in hospitals, health systems, ambulatory care, payer organizations, or medical practice operations required.
Location: In-Person - Campus NYC
Compensation: $5,000 – $8,000 per 11-week quarter ($5,000 for 1-2 credit courses, $8,000 for 4-credit courses)

About the Role

This is a fully remote, live teaching role. All courses meet synchronously between 6 and 10 PM EST in an 11-week quarter format. Instructors lead live sessions, engage students in applied discussion, and supervise real-world projects. This is not an asynchronous, self-paced model. Faculty must be comfortable teaching live online.

  • Healthcare Systems and Policy

  • Healthcare Law, Ethics, and Compliance

  • Healthcare Operations Management

  • Revenue Cycle and Billing

  • Health Information Systems and Data Management

  • Quality, Safety, and Risk

  • Applied Case Studies and Capstone

Academic Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Teach live online classes between 6 and 10 PM EST

  • Deliver structured, high-engagement instruction in an 11-week quarter

  • Lead case-based discussions and applied exercises

  • Grade and provide substantive, timely feedback

  • Support capstone and applied project supervision

  • Integrate digital tools and AI appropriately into coursework

  • Maintain strong academic standards and uphold integrity

  • Collaborate with program leadership as the program evolves

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Services Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, Business with healthcare focus, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in higher education (online or in-person)

  • Minimum 3 years of professional healthcare industry experience

  • Experience working in hospitals, health systems, ambulatory care, payer organizations, or medical practice operations

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills.

  • Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing.

    • Digital fluency and ability to effectively incorporate AI-powered educational tools into instruction.

  • Proactive, reliable, and committed to high-quality online education.

  • Passion for equity, access, and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

  • Available to commit 8-10 hours per week per course, with some flexibility for training.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching online live

  • Experience with EHR systems

  • Experience with revenue cycle management or billing

  • Professional certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CMRS, CHC, CHFP

  • Experience serving first-generation or nontraditional students

Compensation

  • $8,000 per 4-credit course/11 week quarter
