Role Snapshot
Become a Reading Partners AmeriCorps Member in Fort Worth, TX, providing individualized literacy intervention to students to empower young readers to achieve grade-level reading proficiency by fourth grade.
Key Responsibilities: Serve full-time, in-person delivering literacy support to students and completing 900+ hours of service from January to June 2026, working Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Participate in intensive training and ongoing professional development throughout the 6-month service term.
Skills & Tools: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, teamwork, and openness to learning technology systems such as Salesforce, Google Apps, and Zoom. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status; must be at least 18 years old at service start. Prior AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, or other national service experience and/or community-based or education program volunteering is preferred.
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: $13K/mo
