Role Snapshot

Deliver virtual physical therapy instruction to K-12 students in Minnesota schools as a remote 1099 contractor. Evaluate motor function, develop treatment plans, and support student progress toward IEP goals through teletherapy.

Skills & Tools: Strong teletherapy platform proficiency with reliable tech setup (webcam, headset, stable internet); excellent remote collaboration and communication abilities; ability to create engaging virtual learning environments and adapt instruction for diverse student needs.
Qualifications: Active physical therapy license from the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy; successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE); authorization to work in the United States.
Location: Remote - Rochester, MN
Compensation: $40–$65/hr

Job Description

$40-$65+ hourly rate; based on experience, rates are negotiable and subject to change.

The Role
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
  • Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
  • Evaluate levels of gross motor function, mobility, strength, balance, and functional skills
  • Develop and execute treatment plans that address specific student needs
  • Document sessions and record data on progress towards IEP goals
  • Meet with personnel at the school or district to transmit information about student progress

  • Must hold an active physical therapy license issued by the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
  • Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
  • Reliable, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform experience; strong tech setup (webcam, headset, stable internet, private workspace).
  • Comfort collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
