Role Snapshot

Senior Manager, Email Marketing at Macmillan Learning will lead the transformation of the company's email program into a data-driven, performance-focused channel that deepens reader engagement and drives ecommerce sales across corporate initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Spearhead strategic planning and execution of all corporate email marketing campaigns, oversee lifecycle and triggered email programs, define A/B testing initiatives, and serve as the internal email marketing expert advising teams on creative and performance strategies. Develop centralized content calendars, audit and optimize newsletter strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to align email efforts with broader marketing objectives.
Skills & Tools: 5+ years of email and lifecycle marketing experience with expertise in segmentation, automation, and testing methodologies; strong analytical skills and proficiency with email marketing platforms. Must demonstrate creative marketing ability combined with data-driven thinking and the ability to build meaningful relationships through personalized, insight-driven communication.
Qualifications: Proven success managing large-scale email programs with measurable results and strong understanding of email compliance standards. Ability to collaborate across teams and serve as a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of content, data, and performance.
Location: New York, New York
Compensation: $80K–$85K/yr
