Summary

The Solutions Specialist provides in-depth product knowledge and sales support for n2y's educational technology solutions, delivering customer demonstrations and internal training to drive revenue objectives. This role serves as a cross-functional bridge between Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver customer-facing product demonstrations, create and coordinate sales team training on features and messaging, and provide implementation guidance and opportunity needs analysis to districts. Manage schedules across departments, create customer-specific presentation materials, and support RFP responses.
Skills & Tools: Strong demonstration and public speaking abilities with proficiency in Salesforce, Google Suite, and remote presentation tools (Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet). Deep understanding of special education, IEP processes, reading and literacy interventions, and K-12 educational technology markets.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field with minimum 5 years of special education classroom experience. Prior experience with n2y solutions and knowledge of behavior interventions are preferred.
Location: Huron, Ohio, United States
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $55,000 – $75,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Job Summary

The Solutions Specialist is responsible for providing the Sales organization with a significant depth of knowledge of our solutions and market segments. This role is a team member with the ability to deliver a consistent high-quality message, enhance the capabilities of Sales team members, and contribute to the fulfillment of revenue objectives of n2y. The Solutions Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering customer facing demonstrations in support of Sales team member efforts, as well as creating and delivering internal training to keep the Sales team up to date on solution and market changes. As a cross-functional team member, this role will coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to enhance the efficacy of our sales efforts and maintain alignment of messaging. 

The Solutions Specialist collaborates with Sales to support their efforts in closing business, expanding into new segments, answering district questions, and creating customer-specific demonstration materials, data, and presentations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Sales representatives on designing and delivering in-depth demonstration of our solutions
  • Creating, coordinating, and delivering training for the Sales team on feature functionality, solution updates, messaging, and tools and processes
  • Working with Sales/customers to provide implementation guidance and planning to create a seamless handoff to Customer Success
  • Manage and communicate schedules and availability with teams
  • Collaborate across departments - Marketing, Product, Operations, Customer Success, Technology
  • Initially focus on n2y’s newest solutions, but to expand to other solutions
  • Provide districts and sales with opportunity needs analysis and present those findings to districts
  • Create customer-specific demonstration data and presentations
  • Provide product and market specific information for RFP responses

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Special Education classroom
  • Experience in Reading and Literacy research, foundations, and intervention preferred
  • Experience in educational technology products and services sold into the K-12 market
  • Background in schools/special education preferred
  • Prior experience with n2y solutions preferred
  • Understanding of Special Education and IEP processes
  • Behavior background a plus
  • Demonstration and public speaking skills
  • Salesforce, GSuite, Remote learning/presentation (Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet, etc)
  • Ability to travel as needed.
