The Social Media Co-op Student will assist with content creation, management, and strategy across various social platforms for the Social Media team. The successful candidate will support social media content planning, creation, and post-production, including engaging with stakeholders and assisting with administrative tasks. They will work alongside a creative and dynamic marketing team to help execute social media campaigns and contribute to the success of the organization.
What would my main duties be?
- Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to support social media campaigns and media generation.
- Assist in content creation, including short-form video and visual media tailored for social channels.
- Create and edit content for various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand goals and audience preferences.
- Assist with social media strategies to increase engagement and brand presence across platforms.
- Engage with online communities and track social media trends to inform future content creation.
Work Experience:
- Understanding of social media dynamics, especially the role of video content in a business-to-business environment.
- Experience with social media platforms and how video and multimedia content can drive engagement.
- Ability to create engaging content that resonates with different audience demographics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for crafting posts, captions, and engaging with followers.
- A team player with a proactive, adaptable mindset to keep up with the fast-paced, ever-evolving social media landscape.
- Comfortable with tools for creating and editing social media content, with emphasis on short-form video for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
