What you’ll do…

Drive new business development with North America’s largest school districts
Prospect new districts while collaborating with a strategic sales consultant
Develop break-through strategies and creative approaches to building awareness, relationships, and trust
Source new sales pipeline through a variety of outreach methods, including phone, email, events, and social selling
Develop strategies to continuously strengthen a network of key relationships over time
Attend conferences, customer visits, and other networking events
Engage leads through high-value follow-up communications, consistently sharing relevant content
Qualify leads using specific guidelines and criteria in Salesforce (CRM)
Prioritize and organize the lead pipeline on a daily basis for maximum efficiency
Ensure all sales activities are accurately recorded and tracked in Salesforce
Share best practices and be ready to share your learnings with fellow team members
Take part in weekly, monthly, and annual sales meetings

What we’re looking for…

A strong knowledge of the K-12 market, key trends, and challenges educators face
Previous experience working in a K-12 school district as an educator or administrator, supporting college and career readiness initiatives (preferred)
The ability and confidence to cold-call and engage in meaningful discussions
Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills
An empathetic and genuine manner of communicating
Highly motivated and self-directed
Resilient, with a positive outlook and unwavering drive to succeed
Willingness to travel
A team player who is open to growth and professional and personal development
