Role Snapshot
On-call research and evaluation assistant at the Exploratorium supporting visitor learning through interviews, data collection, and program evaluation. The role assists in assessing museum exhibits and educational programs while helping refine evaluation methodologies.
Skills & Tools: Excellent communication and listening abilities, strong attention to detail, proficiency with iPads and Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with audio/video data collection systems. Ability to follow direction, troubleshoot technical equipment, and work flexibly with varying weekly hours.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required with interest in or experience with research and evaluation preferred. Familiarity with Qualtrics and audio/video setup experience are considered assets.
Location: San Francisco, California
Compensation: $27–$29/hr
