We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior IT Agile Project Manager to join our IT Project Management team. The ideal candidate will blend traditional project management with agile methodologies to drive successful project outcomes. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong leadership, a deep understanding of agile principles, and the ability to foster collaboration across cross-functional teams. You will facilitate planning and execution of both operational and project work while influencing stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional IT projects using a combination of traditional and agile methodologies.
- Assist teams in planning their work, encompassing both operational and project-related tasks.
- Proactively identify areas of opportunities within agile teams and implement practices to improve overall team performance and delivery.
- Drive project delivery, ensuring adherence to agile principles across all team members.
- Facilitate project planning sessions, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives tailored to team needs.
- Conduct problem-solving and root cause analysis to overcome delivery challenges.
- Present project updates, risks, and solutions in a clear, concise, and structured manner to a variety of audiences.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by understanding and managing group dynamics.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on project progress, including risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams for seamless project execution.
- Mentor and guide team members on agile practices and principles.
- Model strong time management skills; keeping meetings focused and efficient.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.
- Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
- Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.
Additional Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing IT projects using both traditional and agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of agile principles, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience presenting project status, outcomes, risks, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent facilitation, problem-solving, and root cause analysis abilities.
- Ability to adapt and blend project management techniques to suit project needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP are a plus.
