Join us in transforming how the industry designs and develops electric and electronic systems. As a key member of our customer-facing engineering team, you will collaborate with electrical and power electronics engineers to enhance their capabilities in system development and analysis using MathWorks tools.
In this role, you will:
- Leverage your technical expertise to understand customer challenges and demonstrate how MathWorks solutions address their needs.
- Engage in meaningful technical discussions and deliver compelling presentations and proofs of concept.
- Support customers throughout their evaluation process, providing guidance and technical insight to ensure successful adoption.
Although this is a pre-sales position, it involves hands-on technical work, including developing models, simulations, and prototypes to showcase the value of our tools.
Travel Requirement: Up to 25%, primarily within North America.

Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers to understand their workflows, challenges, and goals, and recommend tailored solutions using MathWorks tools.
- Design and develop compelling demonstrations—including programs, application examples, and simulations—that showcase how MathWorks software addresses specific customer needs.
- Deliver engaging presentations and live demos to audiences of varying sizes, from small technical teams to large conference settings.
- Partner closely with sales representatives to align technical insights with strategic selling approaches, contributing to the successful achievement of sales objectives.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by advocating for product enhancements and future directions based on real-world feedback and use cases.
- Identify emerging application areas and collaborate with development and marketing teams to craft impactful messaging and demonstrations that resonate with target audiences.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with electrical design and simulation
- Background in power electronics modeling and simulation is required
- Some programming experience (MATLAB, C, C++, VHDL, etc.)
- Experience developing and verifying simulation models for the purpose of control design, component sizing, and system performance evaluation
- Familiarity with electrical or circuit design
- MS or Ph.D. in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both group and individual settings.
Pluses:
- Experience with MathWorks tools (MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, etc.) or other engineering tools such as LTspice, SIMPLIS, PLECS, or PSIM.
- Experience in deploying simulation models for real time execution
