Join BetterUp as an AI Automation Engineer to design and implement intelligent, AI-enabled automations that transform workflows and scale internal operations. This is a hands-on builder role on a fast-moving team where your work directly impacts how the company automates and future-proofs its operations.

Key Responsibilities: Implement and scale AI workflows using Model Context Protocol (MCP), build secure APIs, and design agentic systems that integrate seamlessly with operational data across Slack, Jira, Salesforce, and internal systems. Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure alignment with business objectives while authoring technical documentation and reducing operational overhead.

Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Ruby, Rails, and automation platforms like Workato or UiPath, with strong experience integrating APIs and building automations in SaaS environments. Familiarity with AI infrastructure, secure system integrations, and multi-channel platform development is preferred.

Qualifications: 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in automation, identity management, and orchestration protocols. Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI infrastructure, and enterprise SaaS integrations is highly valued.

Location: United States

Compensation: $144K–$227K/yr
