Role Snapshot
Senior Editorial Manager for Carnegie Learning's Literacy products who will lead editorial workflow and ensure high-quality instructional content across print and digital platforms for grades 6β12 ELA. This role involves mentoring editorial team members and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging, equitable learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Lead editorial workflow for print and digital literacy content, create and revise instructional units, review manuscripts for accuracy and bias, manage proofs and production stages, and mentor two editorial team members. Partner with Instructional Design, Product, and Production teams while supporting market analyses to inform product decisions.
Skills & Tools: Strong ELA/literacy content knowledge for grades 6β12, expertise in editorial style and The Chicago Manual of Style, and proficiency with Smartsheet, Adobe Suite, and digital content management tools. Demonstrated project management abilities, collaborative approach, and commitment to equity and accessibility in instructional content.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in English, Education, or related field preferred. 5+ years of editorial experience in educational publishing with expertise editing both print and digital instructional materials.

Compensation: $90Kβ$102K/yr
