Curriculum & Learning Design Associate supporting the development, production, QA, and delivery of student- and educator-facing curricular materials for a 3-month temporary assignment. The role bridges instructional design and technical LMS implementation to ensure accessible, high-quality educational content.

Key Responsibilities: Format, edit, and QA instructional materials for publication across multiple LMS platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L Brightspace, Schoology, Google Classroom) while ensuring WCAG 2.2 accessibility compliance. Maintain curriculum files, support version tracking, and collaborate with instructional designers and product teams to move materials through development and release cycles.

Skills & Tools: Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills with exceptional attention to detail and familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards. Technical confidence in building and maintaining courses across multiple LMS platforms, plus organizational and asset-management skills in fast-moving collaborative environments.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, curriculum and instruction, educational technology, or related field, with experience developing, editing, formatting, or implementing instructional materials. Hands-on experience with at least one LMS platform (Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Blackboard, Schoology, or Google Classroom).

Location: Remote - Culver City, CA

Compensation: $65K–$75K/yr

Job Description

Dreamscape Learn is seeking a Curriculum & Learning Design Associate to support the development, production, QA, and delivery of student- and educator-facing curricular materials. The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, with a grounding in instructional design and accessibility best practices, and the technical confidence to build and maintain curriculum across multiple LMS platforms.

This is a temporary W-2 position intended to support a specific project, with an anticipated duration of approximately three months. There may be an opportunity to extend the assignment depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Format and prepare instructional materials for publication, ensuring consistency with templates, branding, and design standards.
Copyedit and proofread materials for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and usability.
Support instructional designers and curriculum leads in creating and revising curriculum resources.
Conduct QA reviews of curriculum materials and LMS courses before release, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.2 accessibility guidelines.
Build, format, update, and migrate courses across LMS platforms, including Canvas, Blackboard, D2L Brightspace, Schoology, and Google Classroom.
Maintain organized curriculum files, track version updates, and support distribution to partners.
Collaborate with instructional designers, SMEs, designers, and product teams to move curriculum through development, QA, and release.
Apply feedback consistently across all relevant materials.

Bachelor's degree and experience in education, instructional design, curriculum and instruction, educational technology, or a related field.
Experience developing, editing, formatting, or implementing instructional materials.
Experience with one or more LMS platforms (Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Blackboard, Schoology, or Google Classroom).
Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards, or willingness to develop expertise.
Strong organizational and asset-management skills across multiple projects and priorities.
Comfort learning new technologies in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Salary: $65,000-$75,000 p.a. DOE
