Role Snapshot

Success Manager for an AI-powered K-12 literacy tutoring platform who builds relationships with educational institutions, particularly LAUSD, to drive platform adoption and customer success. This individual contributor role focuses on fostering district leadership partnerships and delivering measurable literacy intervention outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain trusted relationships with district leadership, manage accounts to drive platform usage, onboard new customers, and leverage product data to demonstrate value in literacy intervention. Manage customer risk, provide product expertise, and gather feedback to support renewal and expansion goals.
Skills & Tools: Strong customer success experience in Education SaaS with proven ability to manage high renewal rates (90%+) and data-driven decision-making. Preferred expertise in reading assessment, Science of Reading research, and experience implementing education software solutions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience with 2+ years in customer success, preferably in Education SaaS. Must have proven experience managing LAUSD school districts and a track record of achieving expansion targets.

The Talent Search Group at PiP is seeking a Success Manager, Enterprise (Los Angeles) on behalf of our client, an EdTech supporting K-3 literacy with an AI-powered tutoring platform. 

The Success Manager has practical experience partnering with customers in K-12 education, specifically with the Los Angeles Unified School District. You will build strong relationships with district leadership, onboard new customers, and engage in data-driven conversations regarding literacy intervention. This an individual contributor, customer-facing position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, and/or relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of customer success experience - preferably in the Education SaaS industry 
  • Experience implementing software solutions, preferably in the Education SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of high (90%+) renewals rate and achievement of expansion goals and targets.
  • Must have experience managing LAUSD school districts. 
  • Preferred: Experience in education administration and/or a start-up organization. 
  • Preferred: Strong grounding in Reading Assessment, Science of Reading research, and data-driven instruction.
