Summary
The Production Associate manages ordering and production tasks for multiple imprints at Macmillan Publishers, overseeing bound galleys, marketing materials, and paperback conversions. This role serves as a critical communication hub between internal departments and external vendors to ensure quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery.
Skills & Tools: Requires 1-2 years of book production experience with basic knowledge of book production and manufacturing processes. Working knowledge of Biblio, RSuite, and Google platform preferred; strong communication and coordination skills essential for cross-departmental collaboration.
Qualifications: 1-2 years of documented book production experience required. Familiarity with relevant publishing software and understanding of book production workflows needed.
Location: Hybrid in New York, New York, United States
Compensation: $55,000 – $58,000 / annually
