About the Role:
The Pre-SalesEngineeris an integral part of the sales team. They provide pre-sales technicalexpertiseto the sales team and customers during the sales process. They act as a bridge to align customer needs with what is possible with the Aries systems products. Recognizedasa technicalexpertacross the Aries organization and with customers they canrecommendsbest practices,solvescomplex workflow problems andidentifyinnovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Working with Sales Managers indeep divedemonstrationsin order toprovidetechnical input into bids, RFP, RFI, proposals,projectsand technical documents within the sales process.
- Havinga solid technical understanding of Ariesproducts,APIsin order toidentifyadditionalsales opportunities with existing customers.
- Collaboratingwith sales teams to develop and recommend products and services to meet customers' requirements.
- Demonstratingthe organization's products during customercallsespecially later in the salesprocesswhen mapping out a technical solution to meetcustomerscurrent and future needs.
- Maintainingup-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the organization's and competitors' products and/or services.
- Preparingcost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with internal and external staff.
Requirements:
- Exhibit experience in a pre-sales engineer or post-sales customer success role
- Have adeep understanding of product functionality and API integrations
- Have the ability tocommunicate to their end customers new features, productreleasesand training so they can better grow their business
- Possess excellent presentation skills and customer relationship skills
- Havea technicalunderstanding and general programming skills, including working in a SaaS or PaaS environment
- Be adept in problemsolving, innovation, and general analytics

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $86,600 - $144,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Base Pay Range for CO is $86,600 - $144,400. Base Pay Range for IL is $90,900 - $151,700. Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $95,300 - $158,900. Base Pay Range for MD is $90,900 - $151,700. Base Pay Range for NY is $95,300 - $158,900. Base Pay Range for New York City is $103,900 - $173,300. Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $86,600 - $144,400. Base Pay Range for OH is $82,300 - $137,200.
