Figma is seeking an Email Marketing Operations specialist to manage its global email program, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $70,000 - $120,000.

In this role, you’ll own our end-to-end email production workflow: building visibility across our global email calendar, partnering closely with teammates across Marketing, and keeping our processes running smoothly. You’ll also manage our external production agency and help shape how we use AI to move faster and smarter. Email is one of the main ways we communicate with our community at scale.You’ll help us deliver messages that feel thoughtful, relevant, and timely. You’ll be the connective partner who brings visibility, consistency, and craft to our email program—while helping us evolve how we work with AI and automation. Your work will make it easier for teams across Figma to stay aligned and move quickly, all while delivering a best-in-class experience to our users.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
- Build and maintain a clear, reliable view of our global email calendar across lifecycle programs, product updates, campaigns, and more
- Run intake and prioritization processes to help teams plan work, avoid conflicts, and make smarter decisions about timing and audiences
- Create clarity and alignment across teams through documentation and processes, especially as our email volume and audience grow
- Act as the main point of contact for our email production agency and external vendors, ensuring high-quality work, consistent SLAs, and smooth collaboration
- Set standards for how requests are briefed, assets are delivered, QA is performed, and work moves from idea to send
- Evaluate where we can use AI and automation to streamline how we produce, review, and schedule emails
- Help project manage large cross-functional initiatives and and drive how we report on email campaign impact on a regular cadence to our partners
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- 3–5+ years in email operations, marketing operations, lifecycle marketing, or similar roles where production and process are core to the work
- Experience with project management tools like Asana, Monday.com, Jira and ESPs such as Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, or similar
- Strong organizational and project management skills—you enjoy bringing clarity and order to fast-moving, cross-functional work
- Comfortable navigating data, project tools, and workflow systems
- Experience using AI tools to streamline manual work or build new workflows
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Experience managing vendors or production agencies
- Basic email HTML/CSS knowledge to support QA
- Experience working on global email programs or across multiple regions
- Familiarity with lifecycle strategy, segmentation, personalization, or experimentation
