Skills & Tools: Strong in-person facilitation and group facilitation skills with experience using role-play, peer feedback, and scenario-based learning activities. Demonstrated ability to foster trust, handle tough topics authentically, maintain inclusive facilitation style, and balance structured agendas with organic discussion.
Qualifications: Demonstrated experience facilitating professional workshops, supervisor training, or team development sessions. Background in management, HR, organizational development, coaching, or adult education preferred.
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $500 – $1,200 per day based on title, seniority, and location.

Job Description

Facilitation & Leadership Skills Development – 

Our team is seeking a masterful, people-centered Facilitator to lead a live, high-impact learning event for current and aspiring supervisors. This is an engaging opportunity to use your facilitation, feedback, and communication skills to spark real growth, reflection, and actionable insights in the room.

You’ll deliver three dynamic, branded sessions designed to elevate how supervisors handle difficult conversations, build collaborative teams, and recognize their own leadership blind spots. Bring your energy, empathy, and creativity—we’ll handle the branded materials, logistics, and session outlines.


What You’ll Lead

  • Session 1: Crucial Conversations for Supervisors (10:00 – 10:45 AM)Guide supervisors in mastering high-stakes workplace conversations with greater clarity, confidence, and skill.
  • Facilitate live practice delivering tough feedback and addressing interpersonal tension using proven models and peer coaching.
  • Session 2: Conflict to Collaboration (11:00 – 11:45 AM, following a break)Equip teams with actionable communication and conflict resolution tools to turn friction into collaborative solutions.
  • Lead participants in role-playing real-world workplace scenarios for hands-on learning.
  • Session 3: Supervisory Blind Spots (11:00 – 11:45 AM)Help leaders identify common pitfalls, unconscious biases, and growth opportunities in their management approach.
  • Foster group reflection, discussion, and sharing of real stories to build self-awareness.

What Makes You a Fit

  • Demonstrated skill facilitating in-person professional workshops, supervisor training, or team development sessions.
  • Strong presence, authenticity, and the ability to foster trust and candid conversation among diverse groups.
  • Experience using role play, peer feedback, and scenario-based activities in live events.
  • Comfort with handling tough topics—conflict, feedback, and addressing blind spots—while keeping learners engaged and solution-focused.
  • Inclusive facilitation style that creates a welcoming environment for all identities and backgrounds.
  • Organized, punctual, and able to balance time-driven agenda with organic discussion.
  • Background in management, HR, organizational development, coaching, or adult education is a plus.

Details to Know

  • This is a one-day, onsite contract position in Salt Lake City, Utah.
  • All session materials, slide decks, and activities will be provided and pre-branded to the company.
  • Requires availability on September 15, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 11:45 AM; please arrive 30 minutes early for setup.
  • Facilitation will take place with a mid-morning break included.
