Summary

The Recruitment/HR Specialist oversees full-cycle recruitment activities and manages HR generalist functions in a collaborative hybrid environment. This role supports talent acquisition, HRIS management, and various HR initiatives for the organization.

Key Responsibilities: Execute full-cycle recruitment including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and relationship management while maintaining ATS records. Assist with HR generalist functions including HRIS data management, payroll support, onboarding/offboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
Skills & Tools: Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, v-lookup, data manipulation) and experience with HRIS systems, particularly UKG, are essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, written/verbal communication, and customer service skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field with 2+ years of HR/recruitment experience and 1+ year of full-cycle recruitment experience required. Preference for candidates eager to learn new systems and technology.

Responsibilities  

Talent Acquisition  

  • Execute with full-cycle recruitment activities 
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks 
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and phone interviews 
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers 
  • Maintain candidate relationships and provide timely communication throughout the recruitment process 
  • Manage candidate tracking and documentation in the ATS (UKG) 
  • Assist with job posting creation and optimization 
  • Support recruitment marketing initiatives and employer branding efforts 
  • Attend career fairs and networking events as needed 
  • Prepare recruitment reports and metrics for management review 

HR Generalist Functions   

  • Assist the Senior HRIS and Payroll Specialist with data gathering and analysis 
  • Prepare and manipulate data using Excel for payroll imports and batch processing 
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports from the UKG system 
  • Help with employee data entry and system updates 
  • Assist with HRIS system testing and implementation of updates 
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes 
  • Assist with policy implementation and enforcement 
  • Help maintain employee files and documentation 
  • Assist with training coordination and logistics 
  • Help with benefits administration and employee communications 
  • Support compliance activities and record-keeping requirements 
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events 
  • Provide backup support for general HR administrative tasks 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives 
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across HR processes 
  • Other duties as assigned based on department needs 

Education & Skill Requirements 

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience 
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, or related administrative functions 
  • 1+ year full cycle recruitment experience 
  • Preference to learn new systems and new technology to further the employee experience 
  • Experience with HRIS systems (UKG experience strongly preferred) 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, data manipulation) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion 

Pay Range: $58,000-65,000K
