Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, maintaining candidate relationships, assisting with HRIS data management, and supporting employee engagement initiatives.
Skills: Candidates must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 2+ years of HR/recruitment experience, and full-cycle recruitment experience are preferred.
Location: The position is located in Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA, with no indication of remote work.
Compensation: $58000 - $65000 / Annually
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Execute with full-cycle recruitment activities
- Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and phone interviews
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Maintain candidate relationships and provide timely communication throughout the recruitment process
- Manage candidate tracking and documentation in the ATS (UKG)
- Assist with job posting creation and optimization
- Support recruitment marketing initiatives and employer branding efforts
- Attend career fairs and networking events as needed
- Prepare recruitment reports and metrics for management review
HR Generalist Functions
- Assist the Senior HRIS and Payroll Specialist with data gathering and analysis
- Prepare and manipulate data using Excel for payroll imports and batch processing
- Generate standard and ad hoc reports from the UKG system
- Help with employee data entry and system updates
- Assist with HRIS system testing and implementation of updates
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assist with policy implementation and enforcement
- Help maintain employee files and documentation
- Assist with training coordination and logistics
- Help with benefits administration and employee communications
- Support compliance activities and record-keeping requirements
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events
- Provide backup support for general HR administrative tasks
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Support continuous improvement efforts across HR processes
- Other duties as assigned based on department needs
Education & Skill Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, or related administrative functions
- 1+ year full cycle recruitment experience
- Preference to learn new systems and new technology to further the employee experience
- Experience with HRIS systems (UKG experience strongly preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, data manipulation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Pay Range: $58,000-65,000K
