Summary

The Director of Development at City Year Orlando will design and execute fundraising strategies to enhance donor engagement and drive organizational growth. This role serves as a key external representative responsible for securing monetary and in-kind support across private, government, and education sectors.

Skills & Tools: Candidates should possess 5-8 years of fundraising experience, strong writing and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Salesforce knowledge preferred. The role requires strategic thinking, relationship-building abilities, and experience with donor engagement and event management.

Qualifications: A BA/BS degree is required, with preference for candidates holding MBAs or relevant advanced degrees. Familiarity with the Orlando donor community is advantageous.

Location: 100% on-site in Orlando, Florida, United States with occasional travel outside the city

Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 / annually
