Job Description
The University of Kentucky Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (UKVDL) develops and applies state-of-the-art diagnostic methodology to improve animal health and marketability, to protect the public health and to assist in the preservation of the human-animal bond through the principles of One Health.

This position is a vital member of the team serving as Information Technology Manager. Duties include network administration, database design, maintaining a large-scale information system, maintaining software/hardware applications, and supervision of IT staff. This position is a designated position during university inclement weather closings. This position is part of UK's evolving IT strategy and will report through the Technology Services department in Beyond Blue effective July 1, 2026.
This position is based at the Coldstream Research Campus off Newtown Pike. This is part of a rapidly developing corridor, offering convenient access to both I-75 and New Circle Road with the added benefit of access to complimentary parking at the facility.
