Role Snapshot
Professional Development Specialist at CommonLit designs and delivers impactful training programs for teachers and instructional leaders to enhance professional learning experiences and support student success in schools.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead professional development trainings, facilitate sessions with teachers and instructional leaders, observe and coach facilitators, and collaborate with sales and district teams to understand customer needs and improve PD operations.
Skills & Tools: Strong ELA/literacy content knowledge, exceptional facilitation skills, understanding of adult learning theory, experience with underserved communities, and strategic thinking with entrepreneurial spirit.
Qualifications: Proven measurable impact on student success as a teacher or instructional leader with a track record of facilitating professional development for teachers; instructional coaching experience is strongly preferred.
Location: California
Compensation: $80K–$100K/yr
