Role Overview

This position will provide strategic leadership to the implementation of Encoura’s Data Lab SaaS solution and enrollment consultation for partners in the areas of enrollment strategy and data-driven marketing segmentation. This position works with complex enrollment analytics and strategic marketing services designed to assist member institutions effectively and efficiently meet enrollment objectives. This is accomplished by providing excellent project and account management and working directly with enrollment leadership to provide impactful consultative services. 

A Day in the Life

  • Implement Encoura's SaaS platform and provide strategic guidance to member institutions for list selection, funnel analysis, and enrollment marketing tactics. 
  • Meticulous detail to on-time, on-budget implementation cycles for Data Lab implementation through use of communication and project management tools. 
  • Design and ensure execution of effective solutions for maximum impact to member institutions. 
  • Identify and monitor key metrics in enrollment marketing initiatives and work directly with members to meet their institutional objectives. 
  • Communicate effectiveness of solutions to member institutions and within Encoura via reoccurring strategic briefs and physical or digital reports and visualizations. 
  • Anticipate impact of, and act on, changes to marketing initiatives in regard to both Encoura and our member institutions. 
  • Analyze member institutions’ enrollment needs and assist sales in matching Encoura products to those needs. 
  • Work with a cross-functional team to maintain and make recommendations on the technology roadmap associated to delivery of enrollment services. 
  • Have thorough understanding of current trends in enrollment management, enrollment metrics, data-driven enrollment decision making, and marketing strategies. 
  • Present at regional and national conferences on data-driven enrollment management topics. 
  • Design and execute webinars and professional development sessions for admission professionals within the objectives set forth by Encoura leadership. 
  • Impact the lives of millions of college-going students through partnerships with member institutions. 

Role Progression

  • Within the 1 month, you’ll: Be onboarded into the products used in your daily work, meet virtually withyour team members, as well as learn our business, culture, and get to know your company wide teammates. Before you progress to having clients on your own, you will be required to demonstrate your ability and comfort level by presenting a mock client meeting to the EES team. 
  • Within 2 months, you’ll: Be actively shadowing and participating in client meetings, and strategy sessions, helping to organize searches, starting to host your own meetings, potentially kicking off new clients and planning/developing strategy. You will also begin to learn about our data science process, including predictive models, how to effectively communicate the meaning of an individual model to a client, as well as successful execution and use of the model in client meetings for prospect search and beyond.  
  • Within 3 months, you’ll: Have clients on your own and be responsible for managing your caseload while also attending internal team and company meetings. You will begin to experience opportunities for involvement in projects outside the scope of your daily client load as well. 
  • Within 6 months, you’ll: Have played a pivotal role in continuing the excellent customer service, consulting, and strategy development with your client schools that Encoura provides. You will be a trusted and valued team member of your client schools. You will understand the ancillary services provided, including Eduventures research, Digital Marketing, Sales, and Marketing Services. Finally, you will play a critical role in the further development of the Enrollment Services team as we develop opportunities for new products and services. 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred 
  • 8+ years of leadership in an Office of Admissions or Enrollment Management 
  • Enrollment technology implementation experience 
  • Significant experience designing and executing complex, goal oriented, marketing campaigns 
  • Ability to analyze and communicate multifaceted enrollment data to members 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience with CRM and other admissions technologies 
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products and presentation software 
  • Desire to and skill in presenting data and outcomes 
  • Ability to execute on initiatives at a high level
