Summary
Join Nelnet as a Product Owner for NDS IT Delivery to drive product features and strategic alignment by collaborating with business and IT teams in a hybrid work environment. This role ensures transparency, manages product delivery, and supports continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Engage stakeholders to understand needs and prioritize features based on business value, manage the product backlog, and facilitate agile ceremonies. Communicate effectively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of requirements, progress, and value delivery.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills essential for managing expectations and ensuring effective collaboration. Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Windows AD.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related fields. Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain United States Government security clearance required for Department of Education contract work.
Location: Hybrid in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. Standard schedule includes 24 hours in-office and 16 hours remote per week for those within 30 miles of office; fully remote for candidates more than 30 miles away.
Compensation: $78,000 – $100,000/year
