Role Snapshot
The Impact Manager leads a team of AmeriCorps members to implement City Year's Whole School Whole Child service model in Jacksonville schools, focusing on strengthening schools and improving student performance. The role is critical in developing emerging leaders and practitioners while supporting students from low-income communities.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee implementation of City Year's service model with high quality delivery, manage and coach AmeriCorps members (8-16 team members) to achieve performance standards, and build strong partnerships with school administration and community stakeholders. Set measurable deliverables, ensure service excellence, and guide corps members through their leadership development and professional planning.
Skills & Tools: Strong people management, communication, and problem-solving abilities; experience with educational practice and policy; demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talent; effectiveness in partnership building and community engagement.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum 2 years of management experience with a proven record of achieving results with students from low-income communities.
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Compensation: $50Kโ$70K/yr
