THE ROLE: Research Manager

We are looking for a Research Manager which will be critical in executing and analyzing research studies that support TeenVoice’s syndicated research reports and client-driven custom research projects. This individual will manage survey fielding, analyze data, develop reports, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance the value of our insight’s offerings. The Research Manager will also work closely with external clients, supporting research initiatives that help organizations better understand and engage with teen audiences.

What You’ll Do:

Syndicated Research Execution:

  • Assist in the development and execution of TeenVoice’s syndicated research reports, ensuring methodological rigor and high-quality insights.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for regularly published syndicated studies.
  • Stay informed on emerging youth trends and contribute to the development of new research topics and study designs.

Custom Research Support:

  • Work directly with clients to understand their research needs and support the execution of custom quantitative research projects.
  • Assist in drafting questionnaires, programming surveys, monitoring fieldwork, and analyzing data.
  • Develop high-quality reports and presentations that translate research findings into meaningful business insights.   

Survey Design & Data Analysis:

  • Design and refine survey instruments to ensure robust data collection and obtain actionable results.
  • Conduct data analysis using statistical software such as SPSS, R, Python, or similar tools.
  • Develop data visualizations and storytelling approaches that enhance the impact of research findings.

Research Operations:

  • Ensure quality control in data collection processes and adherence to best practices in survey research.
  • Support the Director in refining research workflows and improving operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Client Engagement

  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, sales, product) to ensure research insights are effectively integrated into business strategies.
  • Support client-facing presentations and contribute to developing proposals for prospective research clients.
  • Represent TeenVoice in industry events, webinars, and client discussions when needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the development and execution of syndicated and custom research studies.
  • Ensure high standards in survey design, data collection, and analysis.
  • Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to enhance the value of TeenVoice’s research products.

Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or data analytics, with a focus on quantitative methodologies.
  • Strong experience in survey design, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience managing research projects, including working with third-party research vendors.
  • Hands-on experience with survey platforms such as Qualtrics and statistical analysis tools such as SPSS, STATA, R, or Python.party research vendors.
  • Background in youth-focused research or consumer insights is a plus. 
  • Proven ability to communicate complex data in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in quantitative research methodologies.
  • Ability to synthesize and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to research quality.
