Job Description

Our distribution center in Garland, UT keeps classrooms stocked with the tools educators and children need to learn and grow — and you help make that possible. As a Seasonal Maintenance Mechanic, you'll keep our facility and material-handling equipment running safely and reliably, working alongside a hands-on team. If you like solving mechanical puzzles and take pride in a well-running facility, this role is a great fit.

A day on the job looks like this:

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyor systems, motors, sensors, and related material-handling equipment following established procedures and plans
Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical and mechanical issues on material-handling components, including photo eyes, relays, solenoids, and motor starters
Maintain and repair racking, shelving, dock levelers, and overhead doors to keep operations moving safely
Complete routine facility maintenance tasks and support janitorial needs as they arise
Monitor forklift battery water levels and ensure timely, correct charging
Follow all safety and loss-prevention policies and procedures, contributing to a safe work environment for the whole team
