Associate Manager, Learning & Development at Disney's Hong Kong Disneyland creates and delivers leadership and talent development programs that enable Cast Members and leaders to perform and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The role combines independent program design with cross-functional stakeholder collaboration in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and facilitate leadership, talent development, and learning programs across in-person, virtual, and self-directed formats while managing small to mid-sized projects. Consult with HR and business stakeholders to align learning solutions with operational needs, leverage AI and digital tools for program enhancement, and evaluate effectiveness using data and feedback.
Skills & Tools: Strong expertise in instructional design, leadership development facilitation, and adult learning principles; proficiency with AI, digital tools, learning management systems, and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms. Excellent project management, stakeholder communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities with capacity to work independently and collaboratively across complex organizational environments.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience in learning and development, leadership development, organizational development, or performance consulting. Preferred experience within large, complex, or global organizations in hospitality, travel, or entertainment sectors with knowledge of blended learning approaches and learning/talent management systems.
Location: In-Person - Lantau Island, Hong Kong
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is HK$600,000 – HK$850,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Description: The Assistant Manager, Learning & Development plays a key role in creating learning experiences that help Cast Members and leaders perform, grow, and deliver magical guest experiences. The role works independently to design, facilitate, and improve learning programs that are relevant, scalable, and aligned with operational needs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and facilitate leadership, talent development, and learning programs in in-person, virtual, and self-directed formats. Consult with HR and business stakeholders to understand needs, recommend solutions, and align learning with segment and enterprise priorities. Manage small to mid-sized learning projects, including planning, timelines, communications, and coordination of resources. Use AI, digital tools, and new technologies to improve engagement, accessibility, and scalability of learning programs. Evaluate programs using data and feedback, summarize insights, and recommend improvements. Build strong stakeholder relationships through clear communication, expectation setting, and alignment with operational goals. Manage workload independently in a fast-paced environment, balancing problem-solving with hands-on delivery. Required Qualifications Strong experience designing and facilitating leadership, talent development, and learning programs. Ability to apply AI, digital tools, and new technology to enhance learning solutions. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders. Effective consulting, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. Collaborative team player who can also work independently with minimal guidance. Ability to solve complex problems and communicate difficult or sensitive topics clearly. Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills across different audiences and formats. Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field. 8+ years of experience in learning and development, leadership development, organizational development, performance consulting, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience in learning, development, or talent management within a large, complex, or global organization, preferably in hospitality, travel, or entertainment. Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and blended learning approaches.
