Role Snapshot
The Advising Support Representative at Capella University provides exceptional service to learners, guiding their academic journeys through effective communication and support across multiple channels including phone, email, text, and casework.
Key Responsibilities: Assists learners with academic inquiries, program guidance, and self-service resources while managing interactions through various systems. Proactively informs learners of milestones, triages complex requests to academic coaches, and creates/manages casework within established service level agreements.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and critical thinking abilities, excellent time management, and proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, CRM systems, and various university-specific platforms. Requires extensive university policy knowledge and decision-making skills to evaluate complex learner situations.
Qualifications: High school diploma required; preference given to candidates with some college experience and a minimum of 1 year in a customer service role.
Location: Remote - United States
Compensation: $16β$24/hr
