Role Snapshot
Part-time onsite instructor role for prelicensure clinical nursing program at Western Governors University in Grand Rapids. Responsible for delivering high-quality clinical education and mentoring nursing students in their prelicensure training.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct instruction and supervision of nursing students in clinical settings, assess student competency and performance, and facilitate hands-on learning experiences aligned with curriculum standards.
Skills & Tools: Strong nursing clinical expertise, excellent communication and teaching abilities, proficiency in student assessment and feedback, and ability to create supportive learning environments.
Qualifications: Active nursing license (RN/LPN) required with substantial clinical nursing experience. Master's degree preferred or bachelor's degree in nursing with demonstrated teaching/mentoring experience.
