All About the Job

As the Business Intelligence (BI) Developer I, you will support our Enterprise Data Management functions by building scalable data solutions, BI dashboards, Python‑based data processes, and forward‑looking AI‑enabled analytics. In this growth‑oriented role, you’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to help Aeries unlock actionable insights and accelerate data‑driven decision‑making.


Your Mission

  • Design, develop, and optimize BI dashboards, reports, and data pipelines using Domo or equivalent BI tools.
  • Build and maintain Python‑based ETL/ELT processes to ingest, clean, transform, and model data.
  • Enable data‑driven decision making across the organization by developing analytical models and automated workflows.
  • Prototype and deploy AI‑enabled analytics or agent‑based automations that streamline data operations.
  • Partner with teams across Product, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to deliver timely insights.
  • Monitor data quality, system performance, and BI utilization, ensuring accuracy and usability for stakeholders.
  • Document data models, transformations, and workflows; provide guidance or training to non‑technical team members.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience working with BI tools, data pipelines, analytics, or similar functions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for analytics, scripting, and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build ETL/ELT pipelines and manipulate data from diverse sources.
  • Experience with Domo or the ability and drive to learn equivalent BI platforms quickly.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, especially when presenting data insights.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
  • Exposure to AI‑enabled automation or Python‑based agent frameworks.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality controls, or cloud‑based data architectures.
  • Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or other data‑rich environments.

Compensation

$95,000 – $110,000 base salary, depending on experience and skills.
