Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $100,000 - $160,000.
Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Marketing is a critical role. This individual is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, building and managing teams as needed for projects, overseeing budgets, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels, ultimately driving business growth. This is a full-time, exempt position and reports to the Senior Vice President of Partner Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an integrated communications strategy that includes brand marketing, internal communications, and business development support across traditional, social, and digital channels
- Manage corporate and executive media relations, including drafting and issuing press releases, as well as coordinating interviews and byline placement
- Write and edit content, and manage distribution across channels, including internal announcements, intranet articles, emails, talking points, fact sheets, presentations, press releases, video scripts, web copy, and more
- Provide oversight and management of company’s internal/external website, working in conjunction with internal stakeholders to ensure information is accurate and supports business goals
- Design and develop corporate, cross-channel advertising campaigns, including KPI tracking
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders in the development of communications plans as well as associated assets or collateral
- Monitor and report results to optimize communications strategies
- Execute a content strategy that drives high engagement
- Collect, monitor and analyze social and website metrics, and make improvements accordingly
- Collaborate with team members to create promotional concepts
- Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategies
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends
- Create and manage marketing budgets
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance, using data to inform future strategies
- Work closely with the executive and sales teams to create, execute, manage, and report on targeted campaigns to drive sales activity
Team Leadership & Management:
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication – especially sales
Brand Management:
- Maintain brand standards and ensure consistency across all marketing channels, both internal and external
- Develop and implement brand strategies to enhance brand awareness and reputation
- Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events and conferences
Other Important Duties:
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, and adjust the content strategy as needed
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and media outlets
- Collaborate with sales and other departments to drive revenue growth
- Manage marketing technology and tools
- Manage Events including managing events team, coordinating associated activities, and ultimately driving customers and prospects to all targeted events
- Creation and management of annual marketing calendar. This necessarily includes activities, budgets vs. actuals, channels, company stakeholders needed for execution, etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Marketing degree preferred but not required), Business Administration, or a related field certificates
- Must have strong digital format experience
- Ability and willingness to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Proven success in brand management, external relations, and internal communications
- Exceptional project management skills; able to work independently on multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality results; deadline- and detail-oriented
- Ability to develop and manage comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and communications plans that support organizational goals
- Superior interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to develop effective partnerships at all levels, including managing stakeholders with differing views
- Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems
- Positive, can-do attitude; flexibility, adaptability, and business acumen
- Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, SEM, digital advertising and social media marketing (Facebook and Instagram ads)
- Strong Google Analytics, Website Content updating and design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva experience preferred)
- CRM and email marketing experience, HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms
