General Duties: Aleut is in search of a highly motivated individual to administer, maintain, and optimize Learning Management System (LMS) platforms in support of distance learning and enterprise training initiatives. The LMS Administrator will support organizational training delivery by ensuring system reliability, content organization, and effective user support, including platforms such as U.S.
Government Digital
University (DigitalU) and other enterprise LMS environments at the 319 th Combat Training Squadron, Peterson SFB CO in support of the USSF Officer Training Course Distance Learning (OTC-DL).
Specific duties
Administer and maintain LMS platforms, including configuration of user roles, permissions, and system settings Manage course catalogs, learning paths, certifications, and training curricula within the LMS Upload, configure, and maintain course content, including SCORM 1.2/2004 and xAPI-compliant materials Provide LMS support to students and instructors, including troubleshooting access, enrollment, and navigation issues Manage student registration and orientation within LMS environments Monitor LMS performance, identify issues, and coordinate resolution with technical teams as required Generate and analyze reports on learner progress, completion rates, and system usage Develop user guides, job aids, and documentation to support LMS utilization Coordinate with instructional designers, instructors, and government personnel to support course delivery Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new LMS capabilities Maintain awareness of emerging eLearning technologies, standards, and best practices Additional duties as assigned Work on-site - minimal telework authorized Required Skills:
Proficiency administering multiple Learning Management Systems, including enterprise and government platforms such as DigitalU, Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, or equivalent Strong understanding of eLearning standards, including SCORM (1.2/2004), xAPI, and AICC Experience with LMS user management, permissions, and course configuration Working knowledge of system integrations, including Single Sign-On technologies (SAML, OAuth) Ability to troubleshoot LMS issues across user, content, and system layers Familiarity with web technologies, including HTML and basic CSS (JavaScript preferred) Experience generating and interpreting LMS reports and analytics Strong organizational skills for managing large volumes of training content and users Ability to provide technical support and guidance to non-technical users Effective communication skills to support remote learners and instructors Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection requirements within government or enterprise environments Active or current Top-Secret clearance and SCI eligibility required.
Education and Required Experience: Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Information Systems, Instructional Technology, Education, or related field; or a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted Years of Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience administering LMS platforms in enterprise, academic, or government environments Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting U.S. Government or Department of Defense training environments Familiarity with U.S.
Government Digital
