Summary

Senior Associate Editor role at Oxford University Press developing the innovative Oxford Intersections short-form digital publishing program. This key position collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to advance research publishing and build global scholar relationships.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee development of short-form interdisciplinary publications, commission and build relationships with scholars globally, and support the editorial team in research and content acquisition across humanities and social sciences.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and project management skills, knowledge of academic publishing processes, self-motivation, organizational ability, and collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for emerging research trends.
Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of publishing or related professional experience with understanding of editorial, production, and marketing processes in academic publishing. Advanced study or demonstrated knowledge of journals, reference materials, textbooks, and monographs is valued.
Location: Hybrid in New York City, New York; Cary, North Carolina; or fully remote within the United States
Compensation: $58,960 โ€“ $70,000/year
